Witnesses reported spotting several suspects fleeing from the scene after the shooting, but could not provide a clear description at the time. Police credit the Grey’s Ferry community with assisting police in their investigation and helping to identify those responsible.

Teen Life Celebration Part 1
A South Philadelphia community said goodbye to two teens shot and killed in Grays Ferry last week.
Funeral services were held for 15-year-old Harvey Lewis and 18-year-old Dominique Smith at Yesha Ministries Worship Center Monday morning.
The promising youths were targeted by two teenage suspects near 29th and Morris Streets at about 10 p.m. on April 19.
